Swansea is an historical neighbourhood in western Toronto bordered by Bloor Street West in the north, Humber River in the west, Lake Ontario in the south and High Park in the east. The land here is extremely hilly where the various waterways have cut into the land.

The western edge of the residential neighbourhood is made up primarily of high-end detached homes whose residents enjoy views of High Park and nearby Grenadier Pond. The middle section of Swansea features mostly semi-detached homes, while the southern end, along The Queensway, has apartment buildings, townhouses and (soon) taller condominiums.

Since the annexation of the area by the City of Toronto in 1967 many residents still consider the area to not truly be a part of Toronto.
